Arvind Kejriwal To Visit Hanuman Temple
Former Delhi CM to offer prayers after acquittal in excise case
February 28, 2026: Former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will visit the Hanuman Temple at Connaught Place in Delhi at 12 noon following his acquittal in the alleged liquor policy case. The court recently cleared Kejriwal, along with Manish Sisodia and others, of all charges. The temple visit is being viewed as a gesture of gratitude after securing legal relief in the high-profile matter.
Kejriwal will be accompanied by Sisodia, Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh and party leader Durgesh Pathak. It has often been observed that the AAP chief visits the temple before or after major political developments, sometimes with his family. Although speculation suggested he might head there immediately after the verdict, he instead addressed party workers gathered at the headquarters and interacted with the media.
With Saturday considered auspicious for worship of Lord Hanuman, Kejriwal is scheduled to offer prayers and seek blessings at noon. The visit comes amid celebrations among supporters following the court’s decision in the excise policy case.
