Ayodhya Prepares for First Anniversary of Ram Janmabhoomi Temple Pran Pratishtha

Preparations are underway as the iconic Ram Janmabhoomi Temple gears up to celebrate one year of its operations with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expected to attend.

Ayodhya (Uttar Pradesh), January 11: The Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya is all set to commemorate the first anniversary of its Pran Pratishtha ceremony. Scheduled for January 22, 2024, the occasion marks one year since Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the iconic temple.

Preparations are in full swing, with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expected to attend and organize several events to celebrate the milestone. Speaking about the arrangements, Acharya Satyendra Das, Chief Priest of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, highlighted the significance of the event.

“Preparations are underway for the Pran Pratishtha anniversary. Last time, the Prime Minister himself conducted the ceremony. This time, our Chief Minister is attending the festival and organizing programs. Just like Pran Pratishtha, this annual celebration of Ramlala is being planned with grandeur,” he said.

Devotees and Construction Updates

On January 1, 2024, the temple welcomed over 2 lakh devotees who gathered to offer prayers, demonstrating the immense devotion the temple has garnered.

Nripendra Misra, Chairman of the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple Construction Committee, shared updates on the temple’s progress, stating that the construction of the Ram Mandir complex is advancing rapidly. “The work is expected to be completed within the first six months of 2025,” he noted.

Misra emphasized that January holds dual importance with the temple’s anniversary and the upcoming Maha Kumbh celebrations in Prayagraj, which are expected to draw large crowds to Ayodhya.

Grand Celebrations Await

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is expected to inaugurate the event, echoing the grandeur of Ayodhya’s Diwali festivities. “This annual festival will be celebrated in the same way as Diwali,” Acharya Satyendra Das added.

The Ram Janmabhoomi Temple has become a beacon of spiritual and cultural significance, with devotees eagerly anticipating the upcoming celebrations that promise to honor its rich heritage and sanctity.
