- Ceremony Details:
The second Pran Pratishtha at Ayodhya Ram Temple will be held today, June 5, 2025. The rituals will start at 11 AM with Vedic chanting and havan. - Presiding Dignitary:
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will lead the rituals and will also perform the ceremonial ‘uncovering of the eyes’ of the idols of Lord Ram and Sita. - Occasion and Organisers:
The three-day event (June 3–5) is organized by the Anjaneya Sewa Trust. The final ceremony coincides with CM Yogi’s 53rd birthday. - From Baal Roop to Raja Ram:
In January 2024, the first Pran Pratishtha consecrated Ram Lalla in Baal Roop (child form). Today’s ceremony marks the installation of Raja Ram, the kingly form of Lord Rama. - Darbar Details:
The Ram Darbar includes marble idols of Rama, Sita, Lakshman, and Hanuman, seated on a two-foot white marble throne, crafted in Jaipur. - Temple Architecture:
The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir is built in traditional Nagara style, adorned with detailed carvings of Hindu deities. The Darbar is 4.5 feet high. - Deity Attire:
Renowned designer Manish Tiwari created the deity’s costumes featuring zari, embroidery, and precious stones. - Security Measures:
Heavy deployment of CRPF, PAC, and SSF is in place. Routine darshan continues, but entry to the first floor is restricted for general devotees. - Prasad Distribution:
62,000 boxes of prasad made from chickpeas and moong dal barfi are being distributed. These were dispatched from Lucknow by Chhappan Bhog. - Ramayana Exhibit:
The second floor of the temple will soon host a multilingual Ramayana exhibit, including the oldest known versions of the epic.
