
Bank of Baroda Introduces AI-Driven Support and Digital Payment Solutions for Maha Kumbh Mela 2025
Prayagraj, January 12: In preparation for the Maha Kumbh Mela 2025, Bank of Baroda (BoB) has announced a series of innovative banking solutions, including AI-driven customer support, full-fledged branches with forex transaction facilities, and enhanced digital payment services, to cater to the world’s largest public gathering.
VG Senthilkumar, Head of Marketing and Branding at BoB, highlighted the opportunity to connect with a diverse audience during the Maha Kumbh:
“As the world’s largest public gathering, the Maha Kumbh Mela presents a unique opportunity for brands. For banks, it is especially critical to ensure seamless banking and payment services to millions of devotees and tourists,” he said.
Senthilkumar emphasized BoB’s commitment to leveraging the platform for brand visibility, customer engagement, and delivering financial solutions to every section of society.
In addition to banking services, the Uttar Pradesh Police have implemented a multi-layered security system in Prayagraj to manage the influx of over 45 crore devotees.
Devotees will gather at the Sangam, the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers, to take a holy dip believed to absolve sins and bring spiritual liberation.
