BJP National President Appoints New State Incharges and Co-Incharges

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President JP Nadda has appointed State Incharges and Co-Incharges for various states across the country on Friday.

General Secretary Vinod Tawde has been appointed as the in-charge of Bihar, with MP Deepak Prakash serving as co-in-charge. Nitin Nabin will oversee Chhattisgarh, Ashish Sood will manage Goa, and Ajeet Gopchade will handle Manipur.

For states with upcoming elections, Satish Poonia will supervise Haryana, with Surendra Singh Nagar as his co-in-charge. Tarun Chugh has been appointed in-charge of the Union Territories of Ladakh and Jammu & Kashmir, with Ashish Sood specifically in charge of J-K. Laxmikant Bajpai (MP) will oversee Jharkhand, and in Himachal Pradesh, Srikant Sharma has been named in-charge with Sanjay Tandon as co-in-charge.

Dushyant Kumar Gautam will manage Uttarakhand with Rekha Verma as co-in-charge. Senior BJP leader Prakash Javadekar will oversee Kerala, with MP Aparajita Sarangi as co-in-charge. BJP MP from Odisha, Sambit Patra, has been appointed as co-ordinator, while former Union Minister of State for External Affairs, V Muraleedharan, will be the joint co-ordinator for the North East states.

In related news, BJP Jammu and Kashmir Chief Ravinder Rana announced that JP Nadda will visit the Union Territory on July 6 in preparation for the Assembly elections. Rana emphasized that the next Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir will be from the BJP.

Earlier this month, Union Home Minister Amit Shah announced that the BJP will not form an alliance with any party in the upcoming Haryana Assembly polls. Shah asserted, “Remove this doubt from your mind that we will go with anyone or take anyone’s support; rather, we will form the BJP government with an absolute majority.”

In a post on X, Shah highlighted the progress in Haryana over the past decade, stating, “In the last 10 years, Haryana has seen a new era of welfare and development of farmers, poor, deprived, and backward people, leaving behind the rule of cuts, commissions, and corruption.”

Shah added that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP workers in Haryana are determined to conduct an extensive public relations campaign to ensure a two-thirds majority victory in the state.
