BJP Set To Announce New National President By April-End: Sources

After a 10-month delay, the ruling party gears up to name JP Nadda’s successor as internal elections near completion across key states.

⚖️ Who Will Succeed JP Nadda?

  • JP Nadda, who became BJP’s president in January 2020, had his term extended till June 2024.
  • Now part of the Union government, his successor will need to tick several boxes:
    • Be acceptable to the RSS
    • Fit the right caste equation
    • Balance north-south sensitivities
    • Address language and delimitation divides

The BJP also aims to revive its support base in UP, especially after setbacks in the 2024 Lok Sabha polls.
