“Congress Has ‘Aakrosh’ In Its Heart,” MP CM Chouhan On ‘Jan Aakrosh Yatra’

Indore (Madhya Pradesh) [India]: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has taken a jibe at the Congress Party over their ‘Jan Aakrosh Yatra’ and said that they (Congress) have ‘Aakrosh’ on the their part.

CM Chouhan made the remark while talking to the reporters in Indore on Wednesday. The Chief Minister has arrived here to participate in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)’s ‘Jan Ashirwad Yatra’.

“Jan Ashirwad Yatra is going on with total support and excitement. The public is blessing the BJP wholeheartedly as the public is our family. I did not run the government but a family. I came to Indore today for the Jan Ashirwad Yojana to seek the public’s blessings,” CM Chouhan said.

When asked about the Congress’s ‘Jan Aakrosh Yatra’, the chief minister said, “They (Congress) have ‘Aakrosh’ in their hearts. They have shut down so many policies so Congress has the anger for withdrawing all policies. They have shut down sambal yojana, laptop distribution yojana, tirth darshan yojana, kanya vivah yojana and many others.”

They insulted Sanatana Dharma, Madhya Pradesh will not tolerate this. There will be an expression of anger against them (Congress) and we are getting blessings, Chouhan said, adding that when the righteous rule, God remains happy.

Meanwhile, Former Minister and the Congress MLA Jitu Patwari hit back at BJP’s ‘Jan Ashirwad Yatra’ and asked for what CM Chouhan was taking out the Jan Ashirwad Yatra.

“The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh needs public blessings. The ration which used to be bought for Rs 50 and Rs 100 now increased up to 10 times, upto Rs 1000 in the last 20 years. The ration which used to cost Rs 5000 now reached Rs 15000 due to severe inflation. What is Jan Ashirwad for? Now there is only Jan Aakrosh,” he added.

Today, they are starting the Jan Aakrsoh from Pashupatinath temple in Mandsaur. With the blessings of God, CM Shivraj will go and former CM Kamal Nath will return. The BJP will go and Congress will return, Patwari added.

Notably, after BJP’s ‘Jan Ashirvad Yatra’, the Congress party is also going to take out ‘Jan Aakrosh Yatra’ across the state ahead of the polls from September 19.

The BJP took out a total of five yatras across the state which is going to conclude on September 25 in the state capital Bhopal. A ‘Workers Mahakumbh’ will also be on the occasion in which BJP workers across the state will participate. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the program and address the party workers.

On the other hand, the Congress party is taking out seven yatras which will cover around all the assembly constituencies across the state and they are beginning the yatra from the prominent temples in different regions on the state.

The state is scheduled to go for the Assembly polls later this year. Through the polls, the state will elect legislators from 230 Assembly constituencies.

The last Assembly polls in 2018 saw the Congress coming to power, with veteran leader Kamal Nath taking oath as the chief minister.

Nonetheless, a political upheaval rocked the state in 2020, after the then Congressman Jyotiraditya Scindia, along with 22 loyalist MLAs, switched over to the saffron camp.
The Congress government fell after being reduced to a minority and the BJP formed the government, with Shivraj Singh Chouhan returning as chief minister.
