Conman Sukesh Chandrashekar Proposes $3 Billion Investment to OpenAI’s Sam Altman: “Take My Money”

Jailed in multiple fraud cases, Sukesh Chandrashekar claims to have built a $3 billion gaming business and offers to invest in OpenAI’s Indian operations.

February 7, 2025: Sukesh Chandrashekar, the controversial figure embroiled in numerous fraud and money laundering cases, has made headlines yet again. This time, the conman has extended an ambitious $3 billion investment offer to OpenAI CEO Sam Altman. Chandrashekar penned a detailed letter from jail expressing his desire to support OpenAI’s Indian operations.

In his letter, sent through the legal firm Anantam Legal, Sukesh proposed an immediate $1 billion investment, with plans to inject another $2 billion over the next five years. He wrote, “Sam, why go to venture capital investors? Why should the big boys always have the fun? Please just take my money.”

The conman also emphasized his “humble beginnings,” drawing parallels between himself and Sam Altman. “I too started from scratch, but with a lot of baggage — false allegations and legal cases, none of which have been proven against me,” he claimed.

Sukesh’s $3 Billion Gaming Business Claim

Chandrashekar asserted that he had established a successful online gaming and betting business generating approximately $3 billion annually. He claimed these ventures were located outside India and expressed a desire to reinvest in technology and AI within the country.

A History of High-Stakes Proposals

This isn’t Sukesh’s first ambitious proposal. Last year, he made an audacious offer to purchase a 50-70% stake in filmmaker Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, calling it a “no-negotiation” deal that could close within 48 hours. Around the same time, he announced plans to invest $135 million in a Los Angeles studio, dedicating the venture to Bollywood actor Jacqueline Fernandez, with whom he claims to be in a relationship.

Sukesh’s Ongoing Legal Troubles

Currently under investigation by the Enforcement Directorate (ED), Chandrashekar remains jailed in connection with several fraud and money laundering cases. Despite his legal woes, he continues to make headlines with his flamboyant offers and claims.
