For those unfamiliar, gangster Lawrence Bishnoi has claimed responsibility for the assassination of politician Baba Siddique, who was shot dead by three men on October 12 in Mumbai. The murder has been linked to Siddique’s long-standing friendship with Bollywood superstar Salman Khan.

The rift between Bishnoi and Khan dates back to the early 2000s when Khan was convicted in the blackbuck poaching case in Rajasthan.
