Ram Gopal Varma Says Lawrence Bishnoi Was Only 8 at The Time Of Blackbuck Incident

October 15, 2024: Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma has taken to social media to express his astonishment at gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s ongoing vendetta against Salman Khan, which stems from the 1998 blackbuck poaching case. In a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter), Varma commented on the bizarre nature of Bishnoi’s lifelong pursuit of revenge for the killing of a blackbuck, an incident that occurred when Bishnoi was just five years old.

In his recent post, Varma wrote, “LAWRENCE BISHNOI was just a 5-YEAR-OLD KID when the deer was killed in 1998, and he maintained his grudge for 25 years. Now, at age 30, he says that his LIFE’S GOAL is to kill SALMAN to take REVENGE for KILLING that DEER. Is this ANIMAL love at its PEAK or GOD playing a WEIRD JOKE?”

The Blackbuck Case and Bishnoi’s Revenge:

The blackbuck poaching incident took place in 1998 during the filming of Hum Saath-Saath Hain in Rajasthan, which angered the Bishnoi community, known for their reverence toward the blackbuck. Salman Khan was accused of killing the endangered species, a case that dragged on for years in court.

Despite the time that has passed, Lawrence Bishnoi, who was only a child at the time, has kept a grudge against Salman Khan, vowing to kill the actor in retaliation for the incident. Bishnoi’s name has repeatedly appeared in headlines, especially after the assassination of former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique, who was reportedly close to Salman Khan. A Facebook post believed to be from the Bishnoi gang warned anyone supporting Salman Khan or the Dawood Ibrahim gang to “keep their accounts in order,” further fueling tensions.

Bishnoi has been linked to several high-profile murders, including Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala in 2022 and the leader of Karni Sena, Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, in 2023. Despite being in prison, Bishnoi continues to maintain his influence in the underworld, orchestrating attacks from behind bars.
