This year’s admission process is divided into three key phases, with seat allotment based entirely on CUET-UG 2025 scores. Here’s a breakdown of how the process works:

🔹 Phase 1: Application Form Submission

In this phase, candidates need to:

  • Fill in personal details
  • Enter their CUET-UG roll number
  • Provide Class 12 marks
  • Upload academic certificates

🚫 Important: No college or course preferences are recorded at this stage. This phase is solely for registration and system visibility.

🔹 Phase 2: Programme and College Preferences

This is the most decisive phase of the admission process, launched after verification of applications. It includes four key segments:

a) Subject Mapping

Candidates must map their CUET test papers to their Class 12 subjects. The portal offers dropdowns for subject selection and an “Update Mapping” button for corrections. This step is crucial in determining programme eligibility.

⚠️ Errors in mapping can disqualify students from certain courses.

b) Programme-Specific Eligibility

The system calculates and displays eligible courses based on CUET performance and subject mapping. If a student is ineligible for a course, the portal provides a specific reason (e.g., missing subject or low score).

c) Preference Selection

Candidates can now select programme-college combinations based on eligibility. Tools like ‘Advanced Filter’ and options to arrange preferences (Add to Top, Add to Bottom, or Add to Preference Number) are available to help structure choices strategically.

✅ The order of preferences directly impacts seat allotment.

d) Final Submission

Students can rearrange their preferences multiple times until the deadline. However, if no action is taken, the system will auto-lock the last saved list. Once locked, preferences cannot be changed.

🔹 Phase 3: Seat Allocation and Admission

Seat allocation will be conducted in multiple rounds based on:

  • CUET-UG scores
  • Programme eligibility
  • Locked preferences

Students will be allowed to accept, reject, or upgrade offers depending on seat availability in subsequent rounds.

How to Apply on CSAS Portal

  1. Visit: csas.du.ac.in
  2. Register using CUET credentials
  3. Complete the application and upload documents
  4. Proceed to preference selection in Phase 2

📌 Note: Students must regularly monitor the portal for deadlines and updates to avoid disqualification.

Conclusion

Delhi University’s CSAS 2025 system emphasizes transparency and merit, with CUET-UG scores at its core. Aspiring candidates must stay vigilant through each phase to secure their desired college and programme.
