Multiple premises searched in probe connected to Reliance Communications
March 6, 2026: India’s financial investigation agency, the Enforcement Directorate has launched a large-scale raid operation at several locations linked to businessman Anil Ambani. According to initial reports, multiple premises associated with Ambani’s close associates and companies are currently being searched as part of an ongoing investigation.
Officials said nearly 15 ED teams began coordinated search operations early in the morning at around 10 to 12 locations connected to Ambani and individuals linked to his business network. The searches are reportedly related to entities associated with Reliance Communications, also known as RCom, which has faced scrutiny in recent years over financial and regulatory concerns.
Sources indicate that investigators are examining financial documents, digital records, and other materials that may be relevant to the probe. The raids are being carried out simultaneously to prevent the destruction of potential evidence and ensure a comprehensive investigation. Authorities are expected to release further details once the search operations conclude and the findings are reviewed.
