The disturbing 36-second viral video captures one of the victims, identified as Zakir, desperately gesturing for help to a biker as the truck continued to accelerate.

The Incident Unfolds

Zakir and another man were returning home after dinner when their bike got stuck under the truck. Despite their screams, the driver did not stop the vehicle and continued dragging them for several meters.

“We screamed a lot, but he didn’t stop. He dragged us along the road,” Zakir recounted from his hospital bed, his face covered in bruises.

Zakir described the terrifying moments: “We were returning home after having our meal. As soon as we crossed a truck, it accelerated, trapping our bike and our legs underneath.”

Driver Stopped by Motorists

Other motorists on the highway eventually overtook the truck and forced it to stop. A crowd gathered at the scene, and angry bystanders confronted and thrashed the driver before the police arrived.

In one of the clips, the mob is seen hitting the driver with slippers and fists while others attempted to free the trapped victims by pushing the truck. Bloodstains on the ground further highlighted the severity of the incident.

Police Action

Authorities confirmed that the truck driver has been arrested, and a case has been registered against him. The victims have been admitted to a hospital for treatment.
