Another witness shared that a stretch of 100 to 200 meters of the highway was entirely burned. “When we woke up around 5:30 a.m., we heard a massive blast. Those who managed to jump out survived, but those who couldn’t were burned in the vehicles,” he said.

A passenger traveling on a bus recounted his escape. “Our bus suddenly stopped after a massive blast. Fire was everywhere. The door was locked, so we broke a window and jumped out. Seven to eight others followed. The blasts continued one after another. There was even a petrol pump nearby, which made the situation more dangerous,” he said.
