Navankur Chaudhary, aka Yatri Doctor, clarifies his visit to Pakistan and denies links to arrested YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra, calling allegations “fake narrative”

May 19, 2025: Travel vlogger Navankur Chaudhary, popularly known as Yatri Doctor, has publicly denied allegations linking him to espionage for Pakistan following the recent arrest of fellow YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra. In a video posted on Instagram, the doctor-turned-YouTuber addressed the viral accusations circulating on social media.

Bhai, main Pakistan sirf ek baar gaya hoon (I have only been to Pakistan once),” said Chaudhary, countering claims that he has made multiple visits across the border. He accused online users of running a “fake narrative” by resurfacing unrelated clips from his old videos.

The controversy erupted after Malhotra’s arrest on charges of spying for Pakistan and passing sensitive information to the ISI. Following this, clips of Chaudhary at a Pakistan High Commission party and videos allegedly showing him criticize a BSF soldier or display a map with incorrect borders surfaced online, fueling the speculation.

“I’m Visiting All 197 Countries — That’s Why I Went”

Chaudhary, who has visited over 144 countries, explained that his visit to Pakistan was part of his goal to travel to all 197 countries in the world. “I had already visited 135 or 137 countries before going to Pakistan,” he said, adding that he proudly identifies as Indian, with family members who have served in the Indian Army.

Clarifies Link With Jyoti Malhotra

Acknowledging that he met Malhotra, Chaudhary said she approached him as a fan. “I treated her like a fan. I didn’t know who she was before. We just exchanged a few words about YouTube,” he stated.

He added that he is not under any investigation by Indian authorities and is ready to fully cooperate if approached. “I am not involved in any wrongdoing,” he affirmed.
