
In Broad Daylight, Teenagers Rob Bihar Bank in 90 Seconds, Flee with ₹1.5 Lakh
February 19, 2025: Vaishali, Bihar: In a brazen daylight heist, two masked teenagers stormed into a Punjab National Bank (PNB) branch in Hajipur, Vaishali district, looted ₹1.5 lakh, and fled—all in just 90 seconds. The shocking incident, captured on CCTV footage, has sparked a police hunt for the young culprits.

Senior police officer Surabhi Suman confirmed the incident, stating:
“Photographs of the criminals have been circulated to all groups for identification. Locals have been urged to inform the police if they spot the suspects.”
The robbery comes just a day after a police encounter in Patna, raising serious concerns about rising crime in the state.
Authorities are scanning CCTV footage and mobilizing teams to track down the teenagers. Meanwhile, the incident has sparked debates on youth crime and security lapses in Bihar’s banking system.
