“Anyone who enters a country illegally has no right to live there. The youth and poor people of India are often deceived into illegal immigration through false promises and big dreams. Many don’t even realize they are part of a human trafficking network,” he said.

PM Modi urged for joint Indo-US action to dismantle trafficking networks, adding,

“Our fight is against this entire ecosystem, and I am confident that President Trump will fully cooperate in ending this crisis.”

Amid discussions on immigration, President Trump also announced the extradition of 2008 Mumbai terror attack accused Tahawwur Rana, calling him “one of the most evil people in the world.”

Major Trade, Energy, And Infrastructure Agreements Signed

In addition to discussions on immigration and security, both leaders also announced key agreements on energy trade and infrastructure development:

Energy Partnership:
Trump revealed a deal making the US India’s leading supplier of oil and natural gas, adding,

“India is reforming laws to welcome US nuclear technology, which will now have a significant presence in the Indian market.”

Historic Trade Route Initiative:
The leaders also unveiled plans for one of the largest trade routes in history, which will link:
🇮🇳 India → 🇮🇱 Israel → 🇮🇹 Italy → 🇺🇸 United States
This ambitious corridor will enhance global trade connectivity through roads, railways, and undersea cables.

What’s Next?

With PM Modi’s visit yielding significant diplomatic and economic outcomes, the Indo-US partnership is expected to strengthen further in:

🔹 Strategic defense collaboration (including potential F-35 fighter jet deals)
🔹 Stronger policies to curb illegal immigration
🔹 Increased US investments in India’s infrastructure and energy sectors

As both leaders push forward with their vision for economic and security cooperation, all eyes will be on the implementation of these landmark agreements in the coming months.
