Javed Shaikh MNS Leader in Controversy After Son’s Drunken Assault on Rajshree More in Mumbai

July 6, 2025: Senior Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) leader Javed Shaikh has found himself in the middle of a major controversy after a shocking video surfaced showing his son, Rahil Javed Shaikh, in an intoxicated state, verbally abusing and threatening Rajshree More, a public figure and former best friend of actress Rakhi Sawant.

The incident took place in Mumbai’s Andheri suburb, where Rahil allegedly rammed into Rajshree’s car late at night, and then, in a shocking act of aggression, started yelling threats and showcasing political arrogance, repeatedly shouting that he is “Javed Shaikh’s son” and no one could touch him.

The viral video shows Rahil in a semi-nude, drunken state, hurling abuses at Rajshree and creating chaos even in front of police officers. He is also seen attempting to physically assault her and resist police intervention. The matter took an even more serious turn when Rajshree filed an FIR at Oshiwara Police Station, naming Rahil Javed Shaikh as the accused.

Who is Javed Shaikh?

Javed Shaikh is a prominent MNS leader and currently holds the post of state vice-president. Known for his strong stance on regional issues and support for local Marathi identity, Javed has been active in Mumbai’s political circuit for several years. Rajshree More, who has recently been in the spotlight for her statements on the Marathi language imposition, believes the attack was politically motivated. A few days prior to the assault, she had posted a video questioning the forced imposition of Marathi on migrants in Mumbai and claimed that without migrants, the city’s economy would suffer.

Her remarks triggered backlash from MNS supporters, particularly in the Versova area, who later filed a complaint against her. While Rajshree issued a public apology and deleted the video, she now claims she is being targeted and silenced by political forces.
