‘A Son’s Desperate Plea’: Jay Pawar Shares Video Allegedly Showing VSR Owner Asleep Mid-Flight

Jay Pawar, son of late Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar, has sparked massive outrage after sharing a video that allegedly shows VSR owner Rohit Singh asleep in the pilot’s seat during a flight. Calling it “unimaginable negligence,” Jay described the incident as a grave threat to passenger safety.

In an emotional post, he wrote, “I have lost my father… this pain will stay with me for life. Such negligence while flying is unimaginable. This is extremely serious and shocking.” He termed it “a son’s desperate plea” and urged authorities to act decisively.

DGCA Action Demanded

Jay Pawar has appealed to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) to immediately ground all aircraft operated by VSR Ventures until a thorough investigation is completed. He has also sought the arrest of those responsible, stressing that aviation safety is a matter of life and death.

The controversy comes shortly after the January 28 Learjet 45 crash in Baramati that claimed Ajit Pawar’s life. Following the incident, the DGCA conducted a special safety audit of VSR Ventures and on February 24 grounded four of its aircraft, citing maintenance and compliance lapses.
