Karnataka 2nd PUC Exam 3 Result 2025 Declared: 22.78% Pass, Final Overall Pass Percentage Reaches 85.19%

Over 22,000 students pass in Exam-3 as Karnataka PUC 2 results are finalized; result link active after 1 PM at karresults.nic.in.

July-1, 2025: The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) has officially declared the results of the 2nd PUC Exam 3 for 2025, with 22.78% of students passing the third and final round of the Class 12 board exams. The result link will be activated at 1 PM on the official websites — karresults.nic.in and kseab.karnataka.gov.in.

Of the 82,683 students who appeared for Exam-3 between June 9 and June 20, a total of 18,834 candidates passed. Additionally, 22,446 students have cleared the third exam, including repeaters and private candidates, pushing the final cumulative pass percentage to 85.19% when combining Exam-1, Exam-2, and Exam-3.

Detailed Breakdown:

• Exam 1 (April 8 Result):
  • Total Pass: 4,68,439 students
• Exam 2 (May 16 Result):
  • Total Pass: 54,168 students
• Exam 3 (June 30 Result):
  • Total Pass: 22,446 students
• Combined Pass Total: 5,45,053 out of 6,39,800 students

Among the 1,11,002 repeaters and private candidates, 22,446 students passed, with a pass rate of 20.22%, slightly below the 2024 rate of 22.5%.

Furthermore, 17,398 students appeared for Exam-3 solely to improve their scores. Of these, 11,937 students successfully increased their marks — a notable improvement from 7,420 in 2024. Subjects with the most improvement attempts included Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics.

• 42% (41,719 students) improved their scores
• 28,617 saw a decrease
• 1,628 had no change in marks

The overall performance of repeaters and private candidates across all three exams stood at 79.81% pass rate (5,66,636 out of 7,09,968 students).

Gender-wise Performance (Exam 2):

• Girls: 36.3% pass
• Boys: 34.3% pass
• Private candidates: 31.2% pass
