Maha Kumbh 2025: Ambassador Baba and Rudraksh Baba Steal the Spotlight

From a vintage Ambassador car to 11,000 Rudraksh beads, these unique seers captivate devotees at Prayagraj’s grand spiritual gathering.

Prayagraj, January 6: As the Maha Kumbh Mela 2025 begins drawing thousands of devotees and seers from across the globe, two unique figures have emerged as the center of attention: Ambassador Baba and Rudraksh Baba.

Ambassador Baba: The Spiritual Nomad in a Vintage Car

Hailing from Indore, Madhya Pradesh, Ambassador Baba arrived at the Kumbh Mela in his saffron-colored 1972 Ambassador car, a vehicle he has cherished and driven for over three decades.

“I have attended four Kumbh Melas with this car. It serves as my home where I eat and sleep. It took me one and a half days to drive here. Despite being an old model, it rarely breaks down,” shared Ambassador Baba with media.

The Baba plans to continue his journey after the Maha Kumbh, driving to Banaras and then onwards to Ganga Sagar.

“After the Kumbh, I will head to Banaras and then to Ganga Sagar. I maintain the car myself and only visit a mechanic for major repairs,” he added.

The iconic vintage vehicle has become a popular attraction among devotees and photographers, symbolizing a unique blend of spiritual devotion and automotive nostalgia.

Rudraksh Baba: The Man with 11,000 Rudraksh Beads

Another magnetic presence at the Maha Kumbh Mela is Rudraksh Baba, draped in 108 garlands made of 11,000 Rudraksh beads, weighing over 30 kilograms.

“People call me Rudraksh Baba. These Rudras represent Lord Shiva. Each bead holds spiritual significance, and most were gifted to me by my devotees,” said Rudraksh Baba while speaking to media.

His striking appearance and devotion have made him a favorite among devotees and social media influencers, with videos and photos of the Baba going viral online.

A Spiritual Spectacle Like No Other

As the Maha Kumbh Mela 2025 unfolds, figures like Ambassador Baba and Rudraksh Baba stand out amidst the sea of devotees and saints, offering unique stories of faith, resilience, and spirituality.

These seers not only capture attention with their extraordinary lifestyles and dedication but also serve as a reminder of the diverse tapestry of faith and tradition that defines the Kumbh Mela experience.

The grand event continues to attract millions, promising moments of devotion, reflection, and unforgettable stories from the sacred confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers.
