New Delhi, January 12: The Maha Kumbh 2025, renowned as the world’s largest religious congregation, is set to transcend its spiritual essence and emerge as a global tourism platform. The Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, has announced a series of initiatives aimed at boosting both domestic and international tourism during the event.
Held every 12 years at one of four sacred locations in India, the Maha Kumbh 2025 will take place in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, from January 13 to February 26, 2025. With millions of visitors, including devotees, tourists, and researchers expected, the event offers an unparalleled opportunity to showcase India’s cultural and spiritual heritage.
The Ministry of Tourism has teamed up with key stakeholders, including the Uttar Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation (UPSTDC), IRCTC, and ITDC, to enhance the event’s scale. The tour packages and services are tailored to meet the diverse needs of visitors, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience.
