Prominent Figures Join the Holy Bath

Devotees from across the country continued to flock to Prayagraj to take a dip at the Triveni Sangam. Among them were several prominent personalities:

  • Union Minister Pralhad Joshi, who took a holy dip along with his family, called the experience “amazing” and lauded the arrangements at Mahakumbh.
  • Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan was also seen performing sacred rituals at the event.
  • Renowned singer Shaan attended the Mahakumbh and took a dip in the Sangam, embracing the spiritual fervor.

CM Yogi Highlights Uttar Pradesh’s Transformation

On Monday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath addressed the gathering and emphasized the spiritual and economic transformation of the state. He highlighted how Prayagraj, Kashi, and Ayodhya have emerged as symbols of India’s growing potential, crediting Prime Minister Narendra Modi for reviving global faith in India’s spiritual heritage.

CM Yogi also pointed out the remarkable rise in devotees visiting Ayodhya, stating that the number had surged from 2.35 lakh in 2016-17 to over 14-15 crore in 2024. He attributed this growth to faith-driven tourism and its impact on the region’s economy.

Pilgrims Head to Kashi and Ayodhya After Mahakumbh

After completing their holy dip in Prayagraj, a large number of pilgrims are now heading to Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Varanasi and Ram Mandir in Ayodhya for darshan, further contributing to the spiritual energy and cultural resurgence of Uttar Pradesh.

With only a few days left until its conclusion, Mahakumbh 2025 continues to attract devotees in record numbers, reaffirming its status as the largest religious gathering in the world.
