A college student from Maharashtra’s Satara district has become an overnight sensation after a video of him paragliding to his exam centre went viral on social media. The student, Samarth Mahangade, pulled off the daring feat when he realized he had only 15-20 minutes left and was stuck in a massive traffic jam.

A viral video shared by Instagram account ‘Insta_Satara’ shows Samarth soaring through the sky with his college bag before making a dramatic landing near his exam venue.

Samarth, a resident of Pasarani village in Wai taluka, was in Panchgani for personal work on the day of his exam. Realizing he wouldn’t make it in time due to congestion on the Wai-Panchgani road, he decided to take the unconventional aerial route.
🚀 Govind Yewale, an adventure sports expert from GP Adventures, Panchgani, devised a unique plan to help him.
🪂 With the assistance of professional paragliding instructors, Samarth safely took off and landed near his exam centre just in time.
🎒 He was fully equipped with all necessary safety gear, ensuring a smooth and secure flight.
