Meerut Drum Murder: Obscene AI Video of Muskan With Station Police Officer Adds a New Twist
March 31, 2025: Meerut – As the investigation into the brutal murder of merchant navy officer Saurabh Rajput continues, a fresh controversy has erupted after an obscene AI-generated video allegedly featuring one of the prime accused, Muskan Rastogi, and a local police officer surfaced online.

The video reportedly shows Muskan and Brahmpuri police station in-charge Ramakant Pachauri in a compromising position. Police officials have confirmed that the footage is artificially created using AI, and it was deliberately shared on social media to malign reputations.

According to the complaint filed by senior sub-inspector Karamveer Singh, an Instagram user operating under the name ‘Priyanshu’ uploaded the video. The Meerut police have registered an FIR under Section 67 of the IT Act, and SP City Ayush Vikram Singh assured that those responsible will be arrested soon.
“It is a fabricated clip intended to damage the officer’s image and mislead the public,” said a senior official.
Officials revealed that similar explicit AI videos involving Muskan and co-accused Sahil Shukla are also being circulated. One such clip allegedly shows their involvement in the actual crime, although authorities have yet to verify its authenticity.

The case has sparked a wave of online content—memes, reels, and satire—centered around a blue drum, which was allegedly used to dispose of the body. While some users condemn the insensitivity, others continue to engage with the trend, trivializing the horror of the crime.
“Not funny,” one user wrote. “This was someone’s son.”
Muskan and Sahil, who were arrested on March 19, are currently lodged in Meerut district jail. After spending 10 days in an observation cell, they have been moved to the general barracks. Jail authorities confirmed that only Sahil’s grandmother has visited him, while Muskan’s family has disowned her.
During a legal consultation, both accused expressed a desire to remain together in jail and asked for bail. They also requested a government-appointed lawyer, and Advocate Rekha Jain has now been assigned to represent them through the District Legal Services Authority.
However, jail authorities clarified that only legally married inmates are permitted to meet, once every 15 days.
The police said the investigation is nearing completion, and forensic reports on blood, fingerprints, and the murder weapon will soon strengthen the case in court.
