Meerut Murder: Muskan and Sahil Refused Room Cleaning in Kasol Hotel After Gruesome Crime, Says Staff
Kasol/Meerut, March 22 – Shocking new details have emerged in the gruesome Meerut murder case, where Muskan Rastogi and Sahil Shukla are accused of killing Muskan’s husband Saurabh Rajput, chopping his body into pieces, and sealing it in a cement-filled drum.
After committing the murder on March 4, the couple traveled to Kasol in Himachal Pradesh, where they stayed for six days to allegedly “cover their tracks” before returning to Meerut on March 17.

Hotel operator Aman Kumar, who runs the property where the couple stayed, told PTI that Sahil and Muskan introduced themselves as husband and wife when they checked into room 203 on March 10.
“They did not allow hotel staff to clean the room even once. They stayed indoors the entire day and only stepped out once daily, using a private car,” Kumar revealed.
He further added that the couple showed minimal interaction with staff, avoided mingling with other tourists, and checked out on March 16, stating they were heading back to Uttar Pradesh after visiting Manali.
According to the investigation, Muskan and Sahil have confessed to stabbing Saurabh to death on March 4. After the murder, they dismembered his body and sealed it in a drum filled with cement, which they kept hidden in their home.
Both accused are currently in judicial custody.
The case took another twist when Saurabh’s mother, Renu Devi, accused Muskan’s parents of knowing about the murder well before March 18, when the crime was officially reported to police.
“They’re pretending to be innocent, but the truth is, Muskan’s mother knew everything. They only approached police to save themselves,” she said.
As the investigation deepens, the disturbing blend of manipulation, deceit, and calculated brutality continues to shock the nation.
