
Mumbai Woman Stabs Mother to Death Over Alleged Favouritism Towards Elder Sister
January 3, 2025: Mumbai: In a tragic incident in Kurla’s Qureshi Nagar, 41-year-old Reshma Muzaffar Qazi allegedly stabbed her 62-year-old mother, Sabira Bano Azgar Sheikh, to death during a heated argument late Thursday night.

After the incident, Reshma reportedly walked into the Chunabhatti police station and confessed to the crime. The authorities rushed to her home, where they found Sabira Bano’s body and confirmed her death.
The Mumbai Police have initiated an investigation into the matter. Statements from family members and neighbors are being recorded to understand the chain of events. Authorities are also assessing Reshma’s mental health and her relationship dynamics with her family.
