New Pahalgam Attack Videos Emerge, Show Tourists Hiding As Gunfire Erupts-Watch
New Delhi, April 28, 2025 —
A chilling new video from the Pahalgam terror attack shows terrified tourists huddled behind a small kiosk selling Kashmiri outfits, as gunshots echo across the scenic Baisaran Valley.
The footage captures the horror of April 22, when terrorists linked to an offshoot of Lashkar-e-Taiba brutally killed 26 people, 25 of them tourists from different parts of India.
In the video, men, women, and children are seen clinging to each other around the kiosk, desperately seeking shelter as gunfire rings out in the background. Survivors later recounted that the attackers selectively targeted Hindus after confirming their identities.

Since the attack, several disturbing videos have emerged, documenting the sheer helplessness of the victims and the bravery of local Kashmiris who risked their lives to help.

One local, a pony handler, was shot while shielding a tourist with his own body. He was the sole Kashmiri casualty among the victims.
In response to the attack, India has initiated a series of stern measures, with bipartisan political support. Actions include the indefinite suspension of the Indus Water Treaty, closure of the Attari border, and cancellation of all visas issued to Pakistani nationals.
While non-military responses dominate for now, discussions around further action continue, with some voices not ruling out military options in the future.
