June 18, 2025: Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, has announced the introduction of a FASTag-based Annual Pass for private non-commercial vehicles, such as cars, jeeps, and vans. This initiative aims to provide convenience for regular road users by offering unlimited toll access either for one year or up to 200 trips, whichever comes first. The pass is priced at ₹3,000 and will become effective starting August 15, 2025 .

  • Validity: The pass remains valid for either one year post-activation or 200 trips, depending on which milestone is reached first.
