No flight at Delhi airport from 10:20 AM to 12:45 PM until January 26
Due to Republic Day celebrations, Delhi Airport will witness a suspension of flight operations from 10:20 am to 12:45 pm starting January 19 until January 26.
The official statement from Delhi International Airport Limited confirms this temporary halt to flight arrivals and departures during the specified time frame. Additionally, in preparation for the 75th Republic Day, the Delhi Police have imposed a 29-day prohibition (from January 18 to February 15) on sub-conventional aerial platforms, including paragliders, paramotors, hang gliders, UAVs, UASs, and others.
This measure aims to mitigate potential threats from criminal or anti-social elements during the celebrations. The prohibition is enforced under section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code and includes penalties under section 188 of the Indian Penal Code
