Pahalgam Terror Attack Fallout: India Briefs Global Diplomats, PM Modi Declares Unrelenting Pursuit of Terrorists
Apr 24, 2025 | In the wake of the Pahalgam terror attack that claimed 26 lives, India has launched an aggressive diplomatic offensive. On Thursday, the Ministry of External Affairs convened a high-level briefing in South Block, New Delhi, updating senior diplomats from over a dozen key nations including the US, UK, EU, Japan, France, Germany, China, Qatar, Russia, and Italy.
The briefings come alongside Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s strong warning in Bihar, where he declared India would hunt down terrorists and their backers “to the ends of the Earth.” He added, “India’s spirit will never be broken by terrorism. Terrorism will not go unpunished.”
India’s Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi will visit Srinagar on Friday to review security measures and counter-infiltration efforts post-attack. He will be briefed by 15 Corps and Rashtriya Rifles commanders.
