Minor’s speeding Scorpio kills 23-year-old biker; mother seeks justice as outrage grows

February 17, 2026: A 23-year-old man, Sahil Dinesh Ra, lost his life in Delhi’s Dwarka on February 3 after a speeding Scorpio allegedly driven by a minor rammed into his bike during what police suspect was a social media stunt. According to Sahil’s mother, Ina, the teenager was driving without a licence while his sister filmed reels from the passenger seat. The impact killed Sahil on the spot and left a taxi driver injured. CCTV footage circulating online shows the SUV performing dangerous high-speed manoeuvres moments before the crash.

Ina, a single mother, has taken to social media demanding strict action against the accused. She said she raised her only son for 23 years and accused the juvenile driver of having a “criminal mentality.” The minor was reportedly granted interim bail due to ongoing board examinations, a development that has further fuelled public anger and grief.

The tragic incident has reignited debate over road safety, enforcement failures and the growing trend of risky social media-driven stunts. Authorities are reviewing CCTV footage and examining evidence from the crash site to determine lapses that may have led to the accident. The case has sparked widespread outrage, raising tough questions about accountability, juvenile protections and justice for victims of reckless driving.
