Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended heartfelt wishes to all Indians on the occasion of the nation’s 76th Republic Day, marking “75 glorious years of being a republic.” Taking to social media platform X (formerly Twitter), PM Modi expressed gratitude to the framers of the Constitution and highlighted the significance of democracy, dignity, and unity for India’s progress.

“Today, we celebrate 75 glorious years of being a Republic. We bow to all the great women and men who made our Constitution and ensured that our journey is rooted in democracy, dignity, and unity,” PM Modi wrote. He further emphasised that this milestone serves as a reminder to uphold the ideals of the Constitution and strive for a stronger, prosperous nation.

Grand Republic Day Parade 2025 Begins
The Republic Day parade is set to begin at 10:30 AM in New Delhi, showcasing the country’s cultural heritage and military prowess. Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto, the Chief Guest for this year’s celebration, will witness the event along with military contingents from Indonesia participating in the march-past.
