No official statement from Singh or the local police has been released at the time of publishing, but the footage has ignited widespread criticism on social media, particularly given Singh’s controversial history.
This incident comes just a week after Bajinder Singh appeared before a Mohali court in connection with a 2018 sexual harassment case. Non-bailable warrants (NBWs) had been issued for him on March 3.
Singh was previously arrested in July 2018 at Delhi Airport while attempting to flee to London. He was accused of raping a woman volunteer from Zirakpur, threatening her with leaked footage of the assault. After going into hiding, he was eventually apprehended and is currently out on bail in that case.
Additionally, Singh faces a fresh FIR in Jalandhar related to another sexual harassment complaint filed on March 2, 2025.
Despite the serious charges and repeated controversies, Singh continues to operate his ministry from Majri village in Punjab. Critics have called for stricter action against him, citing repeated misconduct and a pattern of abuse under the guise of religious leadership.
