Several film personalities echoed the nation’s grief and condemned the attack:

- Anushka Sharma denounced it as a “cold-blooded terror attack.”
- Sidharth Malhotra termed it a “cowardly act” and placed full faith in the armed forces.
- Raveena Tandon, expressing shock and sorrow, urged unity against the “true enemy,” adding: “Shocked and angry. No words to express the anguish. Prayers and strength to the victims. UNITE.”
Government Response
Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who chaired a high-level security meeting in Srinagar, also visited the Baisaran meadow—the site of the attack. He conducted an aerial review and received a detailed briefing from top officials on the security situation and counter-terrorism operations underway.
The Pahalgam attack, considered one of the deadliest incidents in the region since the abrogation of Article 370, has triggered a wave of national grief and demands for accountability. Candle marches, shutdowns, and tributes continue across the country as India mourns the lives lost in this brutal act of terror.
