DMDK: DMDK’s founder, Vijayakanth, gets discharge from the hospital

Actor Vijayakanth, the founder of Desiya Murpokku Dravida Kazhagam (DMDK), has left the hospital after recovering completely. “We are happy to inform everyone that DMDK President Vijayakanth is fully recovered and has been discharged from the hospital this morning (11.12.2023) and he has returned home,” the DMDK said in an official statement on Monday. Recently, Vijayakanth was admitted to Chennai’s MIOT Hospital.

Fans and followers were taken aback by the hospital’s recent official statement on Vijayakanth’s health, which revealed that the actor was in need of mild pulmonary support due to a mild decline in his condition. He reportedly complained of a cough, cold, and sore throat before being admitted to the hospital in Chennai on November 18.
