Prayagraj (Uttar Pradesh), January 14: Renowned spiritual orator Jaya Kishori invited people to visit the Maha Kumbh 2025 in Prayagraj, emphasizing the unparalleled energy created by the massive gathering of devotees at Triveni Sangam.
During a boat ride at the sacred confluence, Jaya Kishori, accompanied by Swami Chidanand Saraswati, spiritual head of Parmarth Niketan Ashram, and Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswati, reflected on the spiritual significance of the event.
"An Unmatched Spiritual Experience"
Sharing her thoughts, Jaya Kishori said, “The emotions of all those who have come here are magnificent. Seeing such a large number of devotees braving the cold creates a unique energy not found on normal days. Anyone who visits will find peace, knowledge, spirituality, and culture here in Prayagraj.”
Swami Chidanand Saraswati also praised the Maha Kumbh for embodying the essence of Sanatan Dharma, stating, “This Makar Sankranti saw the ‘snan’ not just of those present here but of the whole Sanatan Dharma. This gathering is a celebration of its immortality.”
He lauded the efforts of the Yogi-Modi administration, saying, “This duo has worked to spread the essence of yoga across the country. I invite everyone to come and witness this grand celebration.”
"A Divine Connection at Sangam"
Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswati expressed gratitude for the chance to take a holy dip at the Sangam, saying, “I consider myself fortunate. Taking a dip with crores of devotees feels like a bath of the soul. Sanatan Dharma’s power offers solutions to every problem.”
Leaders and Arrangements Applauded
After performing the Amrit Snan, Jagadguru Swami Rambhadracharya expressed his joy at being the first among Acharyas to take the sacred dip. He praised the Uttar Pradesh government for ensuring seamless arrangements amid the massive crowds.
“I am extremely happy to have been the first Acharya to take a holy dip. The government has managed this event with exceptional efficiency,” he said.
Massive Turnout for Amrit Snan
According to Amrit Abhijat, Uttar Pradesh Principal Secretary for Urban Development, approximately 20 million devotees have already participated in the first Amrit Snan of Maha Kumbh 2025, with numbers expected to cross 25 million by the evening.
The Maha Kumbh continues to bring together people from diverse backgrounds, creating an unmatched spiritual and cultural experience.
