
Kerala BJP President K Surendran, five others get bail in election bribery case
Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala) [India]: The Kasargod Sessions Court granted bail to BJP State President K Surendran and five others in the Manjeswaram bribery case on Wednesday.
The case is in connection with the allegation that K Surendran offered 2.5 lakh rupees and a smartphone to BSP candidate K Sundara to withdraw his candidature in Manjeswaram during the last assembly election held in 2021.
A case was registered on the complaint filed by LDF Candidate VV Ramesan.
The hearing in connection with the discharge petition will start on November 15, 2023.
