Power Outage: These Areas To Face 6-Hour Power Cut On July 30 In Bengaluru

July 30, 2025: Several parts of North Bengaluru are experiencing a six-hour power outage today, Wednesday, July 30, from 11 AM to 5 PM, as the Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL) carries out essential emergency maintenance work at the Hebbal substation. The Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM) has issued a notice urging residents in the affected areas to make necessary arrangements to minimize inconvenience.

The planned disruption will impact a significant portion of north Bengaluru, including numerous residential blocks, government quarters, and apartment complexes. BESCOM has not specified staggered timings for different zones, so consumers should be prepared for the full six-hour shutdown within the stated window.
