Weather Update: IMD Issues Red-Orange Alerts In Parts Of Bihar, Heavy Monsoon Onsets In THESE States

June 29, 2025: Weather Update: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red alert for Supaul district in Bihar, warning of heavy rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds. Residents are urged to stay vigilant and take necessary precautions to ensure safety.

In addition to Supaul, several other districts including Bhagalpur, Mahbubani, and Kishanganj are under an orange alert, signaling the likelihood of heavy to very heavy rainfall and possible weather disturbances in the coming days.

Authorities in these regions have been advised to prepare for potential disruptions caused by adverse weather conditions and to keep emergency services on standby.

Citizens are encouraged to follow official weather updates and avoid unnecessary travel until the weather stabilizes.
