The Supreme Court of India came down heavily on YouTube podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia, criticizing him for his distasteful remarks on Samay Raina’s show, India’s Got Latent. The apex court denounced his behavior, stating that his words reflect a “very dirty mind” that he “vomited” on air.

“Such behaviour has to be condemned. Just because you are popular, you cannot take society for granted. Is there anyone on earth who would like this language? There is something very dirty in his mind which has been vomited.” – Supreme Court
Allahbadia, the founder of BeerBiceps, approached the Supreme Court seeking protection from multiple FIRs lodged against him over the controversial statements. He also sought to club all FIRs together for a consolidated legal process.
The court, while expressing strong disapproval, granted him protection from arrest but also imposed restrictions on his activities.

“The words you have chosen… Parents will be ashamed, sisters will be ashamed. The entire society will feel ashamed. This reflects a perverted mind.”
The controversy surrounding Allahbadia’s comments has already led to widespread backlash. Several celebrities and influencers have distanced themselves from him.
Despite this, some of his supporters argue that cancel culture is unfairly targeting him, while others believe strict action was necessary.
With the Supreme Court’s intervention, Allahbadia has avoided immediate arrest, but his future as a content creator remains uncertain.
🔹 He must comply with court orders regarding his passport submission
🔹 His ability to create content is restricted, affecting his YouTube career
🔹 The final legal verdict will determine his fate in the coming months
As the case unfolds, the debate surrounding freedom of speech vs. responsible content creation continues.
