The policy aims to enhance productivity and ensure efficient allocation of resources across projects.
Under the updated guidelines, TCS employees will have a limited number of non-billable days throughout the year, reflecting a stricter approach to managing project engagement. This move is part of the company’s strategy to align individual performance with organisational priorities by focusing on utilisation as a key metric.
The firm describes the change as a utilisation-driven strategy designed to strike a balance between meeting client demands and maintaining employee performance standards.
