“Tears of Justice”: Families of Pahalgam Terror Victims Hail Operation Sindoor

Operation Sindoor: Emotional reactions pour in as Indian forces strike terror hubs in PoK; victims’ families express gratitude to PM Modi and the armed forces for delivering justice

Pune, May 7:
In a heart-rending yet proud response to India’s retaliatory strikes in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), families of the Pahalgam terror attack victims have voiced emotional gratitude, describing the operation as a moment of justice and closure.

Asavari Jagdale, daughter of Santosh Jagdale—who tragically lost his life in the April 22 Pahalgam attack—shared her powerful reaction to the Indian Army’s precision strikes. “We were crying with happiness,” she said. “Modi has taken revenge. The name of the operation—‘Sindoor’—itself made our tears flow. Those sisters who lost their sindoor because of terrorism, India has avenged them by striking nine terror hubs. Our tears of joy just won’t stop.”

Operation Sindoor, a joint effort by the Army, Navy, and Air Force, targeted nine strategic terror sites across Pakistan and PoK, aiming at top Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) leadership responsible for planning attacks on Indian soil.

Sanjay Dwivedi, father of another victim, Shubham Dwivedi, said the swift military response restored his faith in the country’s leadership. “I salute the Indian Army and thank PM Modi for listening to the cries of the people. This decisive action against terrorism has brought some relief to my family.”

Manoj Dwivedi, a relative of Shubham, added that true justice had finally been served. “When we lost our son, we believed a revolution would come. Today, that belief has been justified. This is the real tribute our son deserved.”

Sources confirmed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi personally monitored Operation Sindoor through the night. All nine high-value terror targets were successfully neutralized using precision-guided munitions, loitering drones, and coordinated intelligence.

According to the Ministry of Defence, the mission was carefully calibrated to avoid escalation and did not target any Pakistani military facilities. “Our actions have been focused, measured, and non-escalatory. India has demonstrated restraint in its target selection and execution,” the official statement said.

The strikes followed the Pahalgam attack that killed 26 individuals, including tourists from Maharashtra. The successful operation has not only boosted morale across India but also sent a strong message about the nation’s zero-tolerance stance on terrorism.
