Telangana Thief Breaks Into Liquor Store, Gets Drunk on the Job, and Passes Out—Caught Red-Handed!
December 31, 2024: In a bizarre turn of events in Telangana, a thief broke into a liquor shop in Medak district, meticulously removed roof tiles, disabled CCTV cameras, looted cash from drawers, and carefully packed bottles of alcohol. However, his plan fell apart when he decided to celebrate his ‘victory’ right there at the scene of the crime.

After helping himself to several drinks, the thief passed out cold inside the liquor store, surrounded by cash and liquor bottles. The next morning, the shop staff discovered him lying unconscious, still heavily intoxicated.

Narsing, the in-charge of Kanakadurga Wines, explained, “We shut the shop at 10 PM on Sunday. When we reopened at 10 AM on Monday, we found him unconscious inside. He had removed roof tiles to gain entry, taken money from the cash box, and had clearly been drinking all night.”

The thief reportedly sustained minor injuries during the break-in. Police arrived at the scene, registered a case, and transported him to a hospital. However, further investigation is on hold as the thief remains too drunk to provide any useful information.
Authorities are also investigating whether he had an accomplice.
For now, it seems the thief’s celebration was a little too premature—and expensive for him.
