Delhi Police arrest Uday Bhanu Chib after hours of questioning in protest case

Chib had been summoned to Tilak Marg police station for interrogation, where he was questioned for several hours before being taken into custody. According to sources, investigators believe the blueprint of the protest was closely linked to the IYC president’s involvement. Authorities said they gathered what they described as sufficient evidence before proceeding with the arrest.
Chib is expected to be produced before a court, where police will outline their case regarding his alleged role. Officials are likely to seek custodial remand for further questioning as the investigation into the protest continues.
