UP Woman Chokes Blackmailer to Death During Sex

The woman, tired of being blackmailed, took drastic action to protect her family, leading to a chilling murder confession.

In a shocking case from Uttar Pradesh’s Bareilly, a 32-year-old woman has confessed to choking a man to death during an intimate encounter. The woman told police that the deceased, identified as Iqbal, had been blackmailing her into sexual acts for a prolonged period, leaving her with no choice but to take extreme measures. She was arrested two days after Iqbal’s body was discovered near his home.

A History of Blackmail
According to her statement, the woman became acquainted with Iqbal, a Zari Zardosi artisan, during his visits to her village. Their interactions grew over phone conversations, and one day, Iqbal coerced her into visiting his home. When she resisted his advances, he threatened to release incriminating call recordings and destroy her family life.

“I have little children, so I endured this. He blackmailed me multiple times into getting physical. I was tired of his harassment,” the woman stated in her police confession.

The Night of the Incident
On the night of the murder, Iqbal reportedly called the woman after dropping his wife at her parents’ home. He provided her with sedative pills to incapacitate her husband. “I put the pills in my husband’s tea. Once he fell asleep, I went to Iqbal’s house,” she said.

The woman revealed that she decided to end the ordeal that night. “I was so upset with Iqbal. I thought either I would die, or I would kill him,” she said.

While they were talking, Iqbal tried to get intimate. In a fit of rage, the woman held his hands apart, sat on his chest, and choked him to death. “Once I was convinced he was dead, I dragged his body to the staircase and returned home,” she added.

Legal Proceedings
The woman has been arrested on charges of murder. Police are investigating further to confirm the sequence of events and examine the claims made in her statement.
