UPSC CSE 2025 Prelims Result: When, Where & How to Check

June 7, 2025: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is set to declare the UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Examination (CSE) Result 2025 soon. While an official date hasn’t been confirmed yet, based on past trends, the result is likely to be announced by the second week of June, possibly around June 14, 2025.

The UPSC CSE Prelims 2025 was conducted on May 25 (Sunday) in two shifts across the country. Historically, the Commission has released prelims results within 15 days of the exam date. For instance, in 2023, the results were released on June 12 after a May 28 exam, while in 2024, they came out on July 1 following a June 16 exam.

3. A PDF containing the roll numbers of qualified candidates will open
4. Use Ctrl+F (on desktop) or search (on mobile) to locate your roll number
5. Download and save the PDF for future reference

Those who qualify will move on to the UPSC CSE Main Examination 2025, scheduled to begin on August 28, 2025. The application portal for the Mains exam will go live once the Prelims results are out. A detailed notification will also be released on upsc.gov.in and upsconline.nic.in.
