UPSC CSE Final Result 2024 Declared: Shakti Dubey Secures AIR 1 Among 1,009 Selected Candidates

Union Public Service Commission selects 1,009 candidates for IAS, IPS, IFS, and other Central Services; interviews concluded in April 2025.

📍New Delhi, April 22:
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially released the final result of the Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2024, declaring the names of 1,009 successful candidates who have cleared all three stages—Prelims, Mains, and Interview (Personality Test).

These candidates have been recommended for appointment to prestigious positions including the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS), and various Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’ Central Services.

The CSE 2024 recruitment journey began with the Preliminary exam held on June 16, followed by the Main exam from September 20 to 29, and culminated in interviews held between January 7 and April 17, 2025. The final merit list was compiled based on the combined performance across all three phases.

A total of 241 recommendations are provisional, while results for one candidate have been withheld.
