
Uttar Pradesh's ‘Mahakumbh 2025’ Tableau Wins Top Prize at 76th Republic Day Parade
New Delhi, January 29: The Uttar Pradesh tableau titled “Mahakumbh 2025 – Swarnim Bharat: Virasat aur Vikas” has been awarded first prize at the 76th Republic Day Parade held at Kartavya Path on January 26, 2025, the Ministry of Defence announced in a press release.

🏅 Best Marching Contingent among CAPFs/Other Auxiliary Forces: Delhi Police Contingent
A total of three judging panels evaluated the performances of the marching contingents and tableaux presented by various States, Union Territories, and Central Ministries.
🥈 Second Prize: Tripura (Eternal Reverence: The Worship of 14 Deities – Kharchi Puja)
🥉 Third Prize: Andhra Pradesh (Etikoppaka Bommalu – Eco-Friendly Wooden Toys)
Among Central Ministries, the Ministry of Tribal Affairs (Janjatiya Gaurav Varsh) secured first place for its impactful representation. The Central Public Works Department (CPWD) and the ‘Jayati Jai Mamah Bharatam’ dance group received special recognition for their performances.
An online poll was conducted on MyGov Portal from January 26 to 28, 2025, allowing citizens to vote for their favorite tableaux and marching contingents in the Popular Choice category.
