Safety Advisory:

Residents are advised to:

  • Stay indoors during thunderstorms and avoid open areas
  • Secure loose objects to prevent damage from strong winds
  • Exercise caution while commuting due to potential waterlogging and reduced visibility

Looking Ahead:

The current weather conditions are attributed to a Western Disturbance and cyclonic circulation drawing moisture from the Arabian Sea. While the monsoon has reached parts of India, its further advancement into the northern regions is expected in the coming days.
